Construction work is well underway on a new school to provide additional student places in the Newcastle area. Sustain Landscapes recently joined the construction teams on site to begin installation of the four natural turf sports pitches, with both primary and secondary drainage systems, which will form part of the dedicated sports facilities. Following on from the pitch construction, Sustain Landscapes will continue on site to carry out the soft landscaping around the school and sports centre. Contributing towards the sustainable practices being utilised in the construction of the CO2 neutral status of the new buildings, Sustain Landscapes will use HVO fuels throughout the project.
