In the year marking the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War Sustain Landscapes are working with Groundwork North East and Trimdon Foundry Parish Council to improve their existing memorial.
Constructed on the village recreation ground the works include construction of a ramped paved area and footpath, car park improvement works, tree and shrub planting and planting of a wildflower meadow.
