Contract Win – Swanton Close Play Area, Newcastle.

May 14, 2012

Sustain Landscapes Limited is delighted to have received notification from Newcastle City Council that they have been awarded the contract to construct a new play area at Swanton Close, Newcastle. The works, which will commence in May, comprise the installation of eight new pieces of play equipment and features along with the installation of safety surfacing and construction of an access path.

The contract was awarded following evaluation of criteria including works programme, method statements and health & safety site management proposals as well as price. Swanton Close is the second play area that Sustain Landscapes have built or Newcastle City Council following the successful completion of Harbottle Park in 2010.
