Works begin at Durhamgate

SustainLandscapesLimitedDurhamgateSustain Landscapes have been appointed to implement the soft landscaping scheme at the North East’s largest mixed use regeneration development. Located near Spennymoor, Durhamgate will combine commercial, living and leisure opportunities.

Working for Balfour Beatty Civil Engineering, Sustain Landscapes will plant over 80 semi-mature trees, 3500 native shrub and hedgerow plants, 4,500 ornamental shrubs, 2,500 beech hedge plants and nearly 20,000 bulbs. Amenity lawns and wildflower grasses will also be sown. Works are due for completion in April 2013.
