Apprenticeship Programme Continues

September 11, 2015

Sustain Landscapes have continued their apprenticeship programme with the employment of 3 new apprentices to the scheme. Kyle Taylor, Lee Parker and Robert Spence will gain experience in all aspects of hard and soft landscaping as well as grounds and sports pitch maintenance. Their practical works will be assessed alongside a portfolio of theory work to gain an NVQ Level 2 in Horticulture. Business Development Manager, Gemma Matthews, commented “We wish our 3 new apprentices well as they take the first steps in to their horticultural career. Training and development of all our staff is key to the continued expansion of Sustain Landscapes. The apprenticeship programme, which commenced in 2012, has already resulted in a potential team leader candidate – a position that is extremely difficult to fill with the diverse skill sets required by the Company.”
